Terms, refunds & privacy
Last updated 14 October 2026. This is a plain-English summary of how I work. If anything is unclear, email me before we start.
Who I am
Liam Kena, a freelance video editor based in Australia. Contact: liamkena12@gmail.com.
Quotes & payment
- All prices are in AUD. Site prices are starting points; I confirm the final price before work begins.
- The package is based only on how much raw footage you send, not the type of video: a Standard Edit covers up to 1 hour, and a Long-Form Edit covers over 1 hour, up to 4 hours.
- A 50% deposit is due before I start. The balance is due before final files are delivered.
- Turnaround times are estimates and can move if footage or feedback is late.
Welcome offer
A one-time offer for clients who have never paid me for an edit (one per person, channel, business or household): your first Standard Edit is $179.99 AUD instead of $219.99, covering up to 30 minutes of raw footage. Extra footage, Long-Form Edits and add-ons are charged at standard prices. It can't be repeated, combined with other offers or exchanged for cash, and I may change or withdraw it at any time. A quote I've confirmed in writing always stays as quoted.
Revisions
Each edit includes one free revision round. Extra rounds are $20 AUD each. If I make a mistake, such as a typo, a wrong clip or something from your brief that I missed, I'll fix it completely free and it doesn't count as a revision round.
Your footage & the finished edit
- You keep ownership of your footage and confirm you have the right to use everything you supply, including music, clips and images. I'm not responsible for copyright claims over material you provide.
- Once you've paid in full, you own the finished video. Project files (for example Premiere Pro projects) aren't included unless we agree otherwise.
- I may show the finished edit in my portfolio and on this site, with credit to you. Tell me if you'd rather I didn't. A credit in your video's description is always appreciated, but it's a request, not a condition.
Cancellations & refunds
- If you cancel before I've started editing, I'll refund your deposit in full. If you cancel after, I'll keep a fair amount for the work done and refund the rest.
- If something isn't right with the finished edit, tell me and I'll fix it. If I can't, we'll sort out a fair refund.
- Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your files & the client login
Clients upload footage, and receive finished videos, through a private login to a file server I run myself. Each client can only see their own folder. I keep your files for up to 48 hours after you've confirmed the final export, then delete your footage and exports from my server and any backups. Changes requested in that window count as a revision, and changes after it mean re-uploading your footage. Please keep your own copy of everything.
Privacy
- This site has one enquiry form, and no accounts, analytics or advertising. I don't set cookies of my own. When the welcome offer popup first appears, your browser saves a small note ("welcome offer seen") in its local storage so it doesn't appear again. It contains no personal information and is never sent to anyone.
- If you use the enquiry form, what you enter is sent to my email inbox through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, under its own privacy policy. I use what you send me only to reply, quote, do the work and keep basic business records, and I don't sell it or share it for marketing. You can ask me to correct or delete it by emailing me, except where I need to keep business records.
- This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and uses YouTube for thumbnails, video titles and a background video player, and it and the file-transfer service run through Cloudflare. Those services receive standard visitor information such as your IP address, under their own privacy policies.
Trademarks & law
I'm not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Game Freak or Creatures Inc. Pokémon and related names and images are trademarks of their respective owners. Videos shown on this site are owned by the channels that made them (for example JLucy), and I edited them. I may update these terms; the version in place when we agree on a job applies to that job. They are governed by the laws of Australia.
